Panther Camp is a backcountry dispersed camping area located 5 miles from the entrance on the Blue trail within Big Cypress National Preserve. The site features flat terrain with a mix of wetlands and forested areas. A backcountry permit is required. Amenities include picnic tables and fire rings. Temperatures range from the 50s in winter to the 90s in summer. Visitors can explore the nearby Big Cypress Swamp Welcome Center and the scenic Loop Road.
