Paiute Yellow Post Site #12 is a primitive dispersed campsite in Paiute Canyon, San Bernardino National Forest, accessed via forest roads 3N06 and 3N06B. High clearance 4WD recommended due to soft sand and rocky conditions. The site is heavily shaded and offers more privacy from the road. These remote sites are first-come, first-served with no fees. Maximum 8 persons and 2 vehicles. 14-day camping limit. No amenities including water, picnic tables, restrooms, or trash service - pack in/pack out and Leave No Trace. Campfire rings may be present but campfire permits required; no wood fires during restrictions. Dogs must be leashed (max 6 feet).
