Paiute Canyon Yellow Post Sites are designated primitive dispersed campsites in San Bernardino National Forest, located off Baldy Rd / Paiute Rd near Lytle Creek, CA. These first-come, first-served sites are marked by yellow posts, offer no amenities such as water, picnic tables, restrooms, or trash service, and require high-clearance 4WD vehicles for access. Maximum 8 persons and 2 vehicles per site. 14-day camping limit. Pack in/pack out and Leave No Trace principles required. Phone for San Bernardino NF: (909) 382-2851. Additional Info: Sites are individual primitive locations with campfire pits, designed for self-sufficient tent and car camping. No fees. Obtain California Campfire Permit for fires; check fire restrictions.
