Oxbow Park is located on the east side of the Hardy Dam backwaters in Newaygo, Michigan. It offers 197 campsites, one cabin, docks, a dumping station, two playgrounds, three service buildings with toilets and showers, three vault toilets, a swim beach, pavilion, horseshoe pits, grills, volleyball court, half basketball court, and a flat boat launch. The park provides waterfront access for boating, fishing, swimming, waterskiing, hiking, and enjoying fall colors with sandy beaches. It is family-friendly, pet-friendly, and open year-round. Additional Info: Managed by Big Prairie Township. Located about 25 minutes from Newaygo, Big Rapids, and Fremont, and 45 minutes north of Grand Rapids.
