Owl Creek Campground has 7 camping unit spaces, picnic tables, grills, ramadas, and restroom facilities available to make your stay more enjoyable. The campground is a stop on the Black Hills Back Country Byway. Additional Info: Located in the Gila Box Riparian National Conservation Area about 7 miles south of Clifton, Arizona, the campground sits on a basalt plateau overlooking the Gila River. Three campsites are pull-through sites and four are pull-in sites, suitable for trailers and RVs. The facility features vault toilets, fire rings, and concrete picnic tables with ramadas. No potable water, electricity, or sewer hookups are available. Cost is $5 per night. A trail near the kiosk provides access to the Old Safford Bridge Picnic Area and Gila River Boat Put-In, located about a quarter mile away. Pets are not permitted. The campground is accessed via a well-maintained gravel road approximately 4 miles from Highway 191.
