Over the Hill Backcountry Campsite is a secluded primitive backcountry site in Rocky Mountain National Park, located in an open lodgepole pine forest, up and over a small rise on north side of river. A wood sign indicates the path to the site. Accessible by hiking about 2.2 miles from Sprague Lake TH or 1.3 miles from East Portal TH. No campfires allowed - stoves only for cooking. Reservable site. Additional Info: Site is in rugged mountains and dense forests near Bear Lake and Trail Ridge Road.
