Overview This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature. If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service. contact_info For facility specific information, please call (303) 647-2366. Additional Info: Ouzel Campground is a tent-only campground with 13 sites (8 first-come first-served, 5 reservable) along the South Platte River in Pike National Forest at 6,200 feet elevation. Open year-round (weather dependent). Each site has a picnic table and fire ring, max 8 people, 2 tents, 2 vehicles. No potable water available. Portable toilets during peak season (Memorial Day to Labor Day). No RVs or trailers. Sites 9-13 have river access. First 2 vehicles included in fee; additional vehicles $11/night.
