Outlaw Cave Campground is a fee-free site located in the Middle Fork Powder River recreation area. It includes a vault toilet but no potable water. There are 12 rustic, first-come, first-served sites suitable for tents and small trailers. Pack in and pack out all trash. Vehicles must stay on designated routes. High-clearance vehicles recommended for nearby primitive roads. Road closed January 1 through April 14. Area has prehistoric resources; do not collect or damage.
