Oldman Lake
About this site
Oldman Lake is a remote backcountry campground in Glacier National Park's Two Medicine region, perched at 6,646 feet elevation in a glacially carved cirque. The campground contains four individual campsites, three of which are reservable. The site opens mid-July and requires advance reservation through Recreation.gov. A short walk from the campsites leads to the 40-acre Oldman Lake, surrounded by dramatic peaks including Mount Morgan to the west, Flinsch Peak to the southwest, and Pitamakan Pass to the north. The lake sits at the same elevation as Logan Pass on the Going-to-the-Sun Road. Access is via the Pitamakan Trail, approximately 6 miles from the North Shore Trailhead at Two Medicine Campground.
