Ojo Escondido is a rustic campground within Big Bend Ranch State Park set on private acres in the Chihuahuan Desert. The site includes tent pad areas and small RV sites with access to surrounding mountains and scenic desert landscape. Ojo Escondido Pens includes holding pens for horses and easy access to the Sauceda and Leyva Canyon Trailhead. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and a spring-fed water source. No electricity or shower facilities are available. Pets are allowed.
