The Ohmer Creek Campground is on a minimal maintenance schedule due to budget constraints. Please pack in/pack out your trash and use restroom facilities at neighboring Forest Service recreation areas if a waste containment system is not available on your camping unit. Additional Info: Located 22 miles south of Petersburg on the Mitkof Highway in the Tongass National Forest, this established campground has 10 sites and accommodates RVs up to 35 feet. There is no potable water available. The campground provides access to Ohmer Creek for stream fishing and is near the Ohmer Creek Trail. Open year-round for day use and limited overnight camping at no cost.
