It is located in the Eastern Sierra, at an elevation of 7,600 feet. Day use area has a swimming beach. 143 campsites. Campsites can fit a 40 foot vehicle. Drinking water and flushable toilets. 14 day stay limit. Campsites have a bear locker for storage. Additional Info: Inyo National Forest campground on hillside overlooking June Lake with paved back-in sites, picnic tables, grills, fire pits, and bear-proof containers. Flush toilets, potable water spigots in every loop, and on-site dump station available ($7 fee). No hookups or showers. Maximum 6 people and 2 vehicles per site. Reservations required; extra vehicle fee $10/night. Near hiking trails, fishing, and June Lake Loop scenic drive.
