Ocheyedan Pits Recreation Area is a 33-acre county recreation area located two miles south of Ocheyedan in Osceola County, Iowa. The area features camping with electricity and drinking water, pit toilets, picnic shelter, restrooms, beach access, hiking trails, fishing, and swimming opportunities. The recreation area includes 25 acres of surface water and a Wildlife Management Area open to public hunting during season.
