Nugent Mountain (NM1) is a backcountry car camping site in Big Bend National Park, located 1.1 miles along Glenn Spring Road with a 0.25-mile access road. Requires a $12 permit obtained at Panther Junction plus park entrance fee. Offers excellent stargazing, views of Sierra Del Carmens and Nugent Mountain, and proximity to Pine Canyon Trail. Year-round use with max 20 people, 3 vehicles, drive-in access, pets allowed, food storage locker, and permitted equipment up to 30ft trailers/vehicles.
