Additional Info: Northern Light Lake is a 378-acre lake with one remote campsite (Site 1), ideal for solitude. The lake has a 7-mile shoreline and maximum depth of 7.5 feet. Access is by boat from the ramp on the Brule River at the west end of the lake, located near the Gunflint Trail and Northern Light Overlook Trailhead. No restrooms or potable water available. Pack out garbage. Nine people maximum per site. Dogs allowed on 6-foot leash; store food in bear-resistant containers.
