Northampton Beach Campground is located on the northwest corner of Great Sacandaga Lake in Mayfield, New York. It offers 223 campsites ranging from secluded wooded sites to open sandy shoreline sites, with tent and RV options including group sites. Amenities include hot showers, flush toilets, trailer dump station, recycling center, boat launch, sand beach with guarded swimming (mid-June to Labor Day), picnic area with tables and fireplaces, picnic pavilion rental, and pay telephone. Rowboat, canoe, and kayak rentals are available. A Junior Naturalist program is offered for children. Fires must be in provided fireplaces using only dead and down wood. Firearms are restricted except during hunting seasons. Reservations required via ReserveAmerica; same-day until 5pm. Wheelchair accessible features include boat launch, picnic area, and beach access.
