NORTH RIVER DISPERSED CAMPSITES (Camping Area) Additional Info: Dispersed campsites along North River Road (FR 217) in Cherokee National Forest. There are approximately 7 free first-come first-served sites, some standalone and small, others with 2-3 sites together. Most sites have tent areas and fire pits. Road access ends after the 6th site with no turnaround beyond.
