About this site

North Ozette River is a backcountry campsite in Olympic National Park's North Coast Route wilderness area. The site is located on the north side of the Ozette River and is accessible only by hiking approximately 4 miles from the Ozette Ranger Station via the Cape Alava trail and beach route. Campsites are situated above a wide sandy beach. A freshwater spring is accessible approximately 15 minutes east along the river. Pit toilets are available. Wilderness Camping Permits are required for all overnight stays. The Ozette River crossing is tide-dependent and should be forded at low tide.
