North Lake Campground
About this site
North Lake Campground is situated among the trees and adjacent to the north fork of Bishop Creek. It is a lovely campground - all 11campsites have shade among the tall Jeffery and Lodgepole pines. Three of the sites are very short walk-in 's. The remainder have small parking spot sat the sites. The road to North Like is partially paved and partially gravel and is narrow and winding. Trailers and RVs are prohibited. In the spring and early summer, mosquitoes can be an annoyance. No piped water. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $32 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per vehicle per night Additional Info: First-come, first-served with no reservations. 11 sites at 9,500 feet elevation. Vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and grills at each site. Bear boxes required for food storage. Popular for hiking, fishing, backpacking. Operating season typically May 15 to September 21, weather permitting. Pets allowed. No cell service.
