North Fruita Desert Upper Campground

North Fruita Desert Upper Campground is a BLM-managed campground located along 18 Road north of Fruita, Colorado. The Upper Campground contains 58 campsites in clusters A through D, each with a fire ring, concrete picnic table, and graveled parking spaces. Site sizes and parking capacity vary. There are no constructed tent pads in the upper unit, but most sites have areas suitable for tents. Vault toilets are within walking distance. No water, electricity, or garbage collection service is available; campers must bring their own water and pack out all trash. Firewood collection is not allowed; bring your own. The campground is situated at the heart of the famous 18 Road mountain-biking trail system and within reach of the Kokopelli Trail system. Camping is limited to 14 days. Each site is limited to ten people and two vehicles.
