North Fruita Desert Lower Campground

North Fruita Desert Lower Campground is a BLM campground located along 18 Road north of Fruita, Colorado. The Lower Campground contains 53 campsites situated at the heart of the famous '18 Road' trail system, a mountain biking destination with 58 miles of singletrack. Each site includes a fire ring, concrete picnic table, 12' x 12' tent pad, and graveled parking spaces. Vault toilets are within walking distance. There is no water, electricity, or garbage collection service. Camping is limited to 14 days. Each site is limited to ten people and two vehicles. The campground is integrated into an event staging area; some campsites may be closed during mountain bike and running events.
