North Fruita Desert Upper Campground Site D6 Additional Info: The North Fruita Desert campground is a BLM-managed facility located along 18 Road north of Fruita, Colorado. The upper campground contains 58 campsites arranged in clusters A through D, each with a fire ring, concrete picnic table, and graveled parking spaces. Site D6 is part of this upper unit. Vault toilets are within walking distance. There is no water, electricity, or garbage collection service; campers must bring their own water and pack out all trash. Firewood collection is not allowed; bring your own. Camping is limited to 14 days. Each site is limited to ten people and two vehicles. The campground is known for its proximity to the 18 Road trail system, popular with mountain bikers. Reservations available through Recreation.gov.
