North Fork Catherine Creek Campground is a unique facility as the campsites are spread out over 1 mile along the river. Each campsite is set back in the cool evergreen forest and is a popular area in the summer months for those wanting to escape the heat, enjoy the sounds of the stream, view wildlife, or take a short hike along the creek. Also located nearby is the North Fork Catherine Creek Group Campground, that is available on Rec.gov for $40/night. Additional Info: The facility operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no fees. Restrooms are available, but there is no potable water. The campground is not maintained in the off-season, and snow conditions during early spring and late fall may close the access road. Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The area provides access to the Eagle Cap Wilderness.
