North Buck 1
About this site
North Buck 1 is a backcountry campsite cluster located on the west shore of North Buck Lake in Frontenac Provincial Park, Ontario. The cluster contains four campsites with sandy/muddy shoreline and shallow, weedy bottom. Each site includes a tent pad (4.3m x 4.3m / 14 x 14 ft, accommodating up to 3 small tents) and a privy. The site is accessible by hiking approximately 6 hours from the Park Office or Big Salmon parking lot, 1-2 hours via the Rideau Trail from the east, or by canoe in approximately 2 hours from the Buck Lake boat launch on Perth Road. Drinking water and pit toilets are available.
