Ninilchik View Campground

Ninilchik View Campground is a state recreation area located on a bluff above Ninilchik Beach on the Kenai Peninsula, accessed from Sterling Highway at mile 135.7. The campground features approximately 15 sites with coastal views overlooking Cook Inlet and volcanoes. It offers mixed camping options including tent sites, RV sites, standard sites, and group sites. Amenities include toilets, picnic tables, trash facilities, ADA access, and a sanitary dump station. Pets are allowed and campfires are permitted. The area experiences temperatures ranging from 30°F in winter to 60°F in summer. Nearby attractions include historic Ninilchik Village and the Kenai Peninsula, known for fishing and wildlife viewing.
