About this site
This campground was heavily impacted by the 2021 Cub Creek fire and is now an open sunny camp with many shrubs and grasses re-growing. A good location for groups to camp and access trails or scenic drives or walks on quiet forest roads. Additional Info: This peaceful campground is good for small group camping. Group Site: $40/night (digital payment only through recreation.gov mobile app). Single Site: $15/night. 50% discount for single site camping with Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age, or Golden Access passes. Restrooms, picnic tables available. No potable water or trash receptacles. Elevation 2,700 feet. Accessible via West Chewuch Road and Eight Mile Road #5130 from Winthrop.
