Nesowadnehunk Lake Wilderness Campground is located on the western side of Baxter State Park, north of Mt. Katahdin, surrounded by forested terrain and Nesowadnehunk Lake. Offers tent sites, cabins for rent, boat/canoe/kayak rentals, hiking, fishing, swimming, and bear hunting. Accessible via 47 miles from Millinocket on the Golden Road past North Woods Trading Post and Big Eddy Bridge. Additional Info: Amenities include community restrooms, showers, dump station, fire pits, picnic tables, general store, and laundry facilities.
