Nemadji State Forest - Gafvert Campground

Gafvert Campground and Day-Use Area is located in Nemadji State Forest, managed by Moose Lake State Park. The campground offers eight primitive campsites, each with a cleared area, fire ring, and picnic table. Vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. The site includes water access, fishing, a boat landing/dock, one picnic site, 3 miles of nature trails, and is adjacent to Pickerel Lake and the Willard Munger ATV Trail. There is also a boat-in campsite available. Additional Info: 18 total sites shown on official DNR map. Popular for ATV, dirt bike, and off-highway vehicle use with nearby trails.
