Needles Outpost Campground sits on red clay dirt sites against towering rock formations just outside Canyonlands National Park's Needles District entrance. This privately-owned facility offers tent and RV sites with picnic tables and fire rings, coin-operated showers, flush toilets, and a small general store with snacks, ice, firewood, and emergency gas. No hookups available. Open March 1 to November 15. Located 1.5 miles from the park entrance with immediate access to trailheads. Additional Info: Privately managed on 300 acres of private property surrounded by park and public land. Reservations accepted but sites assigned first-come first-served starting at 11 AM. Quiet family campground with natural desert setting.
