Nancy Lake State Recreation Site is a 36-acre state recreation area managed by the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, located 90 minutes north of Anchorage in Willow, Alaska. The primary campground is South Rolly Lake Campground with 91 campsites available for RVs and tents. All campsites are equipped with fire rings and picnic tables, with access to water and latrines. The recreation area features crystal-clear lakes surrounded by pristine forests, with 14 public use cabins located on Red Shirt, Lynx, Nancy, James, and Bald lakes. Summer activities include camping, canoeing, fishing, and hiking. Winter access to South Rolly Lake Campground is limited as Nancy Lake Parkway is plowed only to the Winter Trailhead at Mile 2.2, requiring snowmobile, skis, or snowshoes for further travel. Camping limit is 14-15 days. No RV hookups or RV size restrictions.
