Namekus Lake Campground is a small, peaceful campground on the shores of Namekus Lake in Prince Albert National Park, located 10 km south of Waskesiu off Highway #263. It offers easy access to unspoiled natural wonders, excellent fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Namekus Lake is closed to motorized watercraft. Namekus Lake Campground features: - 14 back-in, unserviced, non-reservable campsites - 6 unserviced, non-reservable walk-in tenting sites - Pit toilets - Fish cleaning station - Non-reservable, first come first served self-registration - Open mid-May into fall, weather-dependent Each campsite includes: - Picnic table - Fire-pit (fire permit required) - Raised, gravel camping area Check-in process: Choose site, note number, register at kiosk with payment (cash, cheque, or credit card) for all nights and fire permits, deposit envelope in vault, display permit on site post. Additional Info: Accommodates tents and camping units up to 24ft maximum.
