Nambé Falls & Lake Recreation Area offers camping, hiking, fishing, and picnicking in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains near a scenic waterfall and lake managed by the Pueblo of Nambé. Features include basic campsites and ramada campsites with water/electrical hookups. Rentals available for fishing gear and watercraft. Cash-only payments required. Additional Info: Lower Campground with designated sites (R2, R4, R5), toilets, and camp host. Popular for rainbow and cutthroat trout fishing. Non-motorized boating allowed. Currently closed for winter; re-opens March 26, 2026.
