Myrtle Lake is one of the largest high mountain lakes in Boundary County, located at the end of Myrtle Peak Trail #286. The 4.5-mile trail features varied terrain including heavy timber, open-side hills, rock knolls, and ridge tops, with an elevation gain of 1700 feet. Campsites are available at the lake, which offers good fishing. The trail provides spectacular views of the Selkirks from the saddle and peak.
