About this site
Myrtle Lake is a quaint lake nestled in the Entiat Mountains, just four miles up along the Entiat River Trail. The majority of the trail was hit by the 2015 Wolverine Fire, which has led to frequent maintenance needs as charred trees fall across the path — but has also led to an abundance of wildflowers and wide-open river valley views. There are established campsites at the north and south ends of the lake. Lots of dead standing trees and several leaning ones.
