About this site

Rustic campground within the Munuscong State Wildlife Management Area offering opportunities for wildlife viewing, fishing, hunting, and boating. There are 25 sites for tent and small trailer use, most accommodating 40-ft vehicles/trailers. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. The campground features excellent water access with the Munuscong River running through it and leading 1 mile to Lake Munuscong. A boat launch provides access to the river for fishing and boating. The area is renowned for fishing opportunities including northern pike, muskellunge, walleye, bass, and perch. Hunting is available for white-tailed deer, grouse, and waterfowl, though firearm hunting is prohibited within 450 feet of occupied dwellings. Recreation Passport required for vehicle entry.
