Mowich Lake Campground
About this site
Mowich Lake Campground is a small, primitive walk-in campground with 13-21 tent-only sites near the parking area in Mount Rainier National Park. It is first-come, first-served with no reservations or fees required; self-register at the kiosk. A wilderness permit may be needed. Sites feature tent pads, picnic tables, and food storage lockers. Vault toilets are available. No potable water, trash service, showers, or campfires permitted. Open summer only (typically mid-July to early October). Access Tolmie Peak Trail and non-motorized boating on the lake.
