Mount Fernie Provincial Park is a 259-hectare park located 3 km west of Fernie on Highway 3, shadowed by Mount Fernie and protecting the Lizard Creek drainage area. The park offers 40-68 vehicle-accessible frontcountry campsites, with most reservable May 30-September 30 and some first-come first-served. Features include hiking and mountain biking trails, Lizard Creek waterfall, diverse forests, and wildlife. Campground is closed in winter. Reservations via online or 1-800-689-9025. Additional Info: Amenities include showers, flush toilets, drinking water, picnic areas, and accessible facilities. Day use areas with parking available.
