About this site

Mt. Anderson is a scout campsite located near the parking lot at Camp Parsons, just on the other side of Bee Mill Road. The site features three large open-air cabins that sleep 12 scouts each (divided into three sections per cabin), five scout tents that sleep 2 each, and one leader cabin that sleeps 4. Total capacity is 50 people. Facilities include a centrally-located cook shelter with electric lights, scout showers, and a shared KYBO (toilet facility) built in 2004 that is shared with Mt. Turner. The site is accessed via Baker Lake Trail, a wonderful family hike with low elevation and level grade featuring stands of giant old growth trees draped in lichen and moss.
