Morris Creek Trailhead
About this site
Morris Creek Trailhead provides access to Morris Creek Trail #132 in the Scotchman Peaks Wilderness area. The trailhead is located at a small turnout on the north side of Morris Creek along Lightning Creek Road 419, approximately 6.25 miles from Clark Fork, with a small sign marker #132. No restrooms or amenities are available; visitors must pack out all waste and bury human waste off-site. The trail follows Morris Creek through dense cedar forest. Additional Info: Free dispersed parking available at trailhead. High clearance vehicle recommended for access road. Trail crossing at ~2.5 miles may be difficult in spring high water.
