Moose Rapids Campground

Moose Rapids Campground is a rustic camping area operated by Republic Township near Republic, Michigan. The campground is intended for transient, temporary use and is not intended for full or part-time residency. Campers are allowed a maximum of 21 consecutive days, after which they must be removed from the campground for a minimum of 7 days. The campground is surrounded by forested terrain and the Michigamme River, offering opportunities for hiking, fishing, and swimming. Nearby attractions include Van Riper State Park and the Iron Ore Heritage Trail. The area experiences temperatures ranging from 20°F in winter to 80°F in summer.
