Moore Park
About this site
Moore Park is a two-site backcountry campsite in Rocky Mountain National Park, located 1.7 miles from the Longs Peak Trailhead on the Storm Pass Trail. The sites straddle the trail on each side in a lodgepole pine and spruce forest adjacent to Moore Park, a meadow by Inn Creek. The campsite is suitable for overnight stops while climbing Estes Cone or backpacking to Storm Pass Trailhead. Each site has a toilet (peat required after use). Water is available from nearby Inn Creek but must be boiled or treated before use. Campfires are prohibited. A backcountry permit ($20) is required and can be obtained from the Backcountry Office at Beaver Meadows Visitor Center or Kawuneeche Visitor Center. Recommended season: June to October.
