About this site
Moon Lake State Recreation Site (SRS) is situated at the base of the Alaska Mountain Range, just 15 miles northwest of Tok between the Alaska Highway and the Tanana River. It offers 15 wooded campsites suitable for tents and RVs up to 50 feet, with lake access for fishing, boating, and hiking in a spruce forest setting. Amenities include vault toilets, drinking water, fire rings at each site, picnic areas, boat launch, and some wheelchair-accessible sites. The site is managed by Alaska State Parks and seasonally open May through September. Additional Info: Located at Mile 1332 Alaska Highway; reachable via short turnoff from paved highway.
