Mitchell Landing Campground is a primitive campground located in Big Cypress National Preserve off Loop Road south of US-41. It offers 11-12 campsites accommodating tents, RVs, and trailers on gravel or grass pads. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, grills, lantern posts, and shared bear box food storage. No drinking water or trash service is provided. Cell service is poor. Open August 15 to April 15 (dates may vary due to weather). $24 per night; first-come first-served with reservations encouraged. Pets allowed. Access via secondary gravel road; max RV length around 35 feet.
