Missoula Lake Campground

Missoula Lake Campground is a semi-remote developed campground operated by the Lolo National Forest's Superior Ranger District. Located approximately 19 miles southwest of Superior, Montana along Forest Road 320, the campground sits at 6,058 feet elevation near the Idaho border in the Cedar Creek drainage. The site provides access to Missoula Lake, a moderately sized 11.4-acre glacial cirque lake. The campground serves as a base for exploring the surrounding Lolo National Forest backcountry. The State Line Trail system can be accessed nearby. The campground features basic amenities including an outhouse. Access: From Superior, Montana, travel approximately 19-22 miles southwest on USFS Road 320 (Cedar Creek Road). There is a developed USFS campground at the trailhead for lake access; the trail to the lake is less than 0.5 miles.
