Red Fox Campground is located within Minneopa State Park, approximately 9 miles south of Mankato, Minnesota. The campground offers 58-67 drive-in campsites spread across two loops (A and B) in a mixture of open and wooded terrain. Accommodations include tent sites, RV sites with limited electric hookups (six 30 amp sites), and a rustic log camper cabin available year-round that sleeps up to five people. Each campsite has a fire pit and picnic table. Showers and flush toilets are available May through October, weather permitting, with limited facilities in winter. The park features a 325-acre bison range, scenic waterfalls of Minneopa Creek, hiking trails, and the historic Seppmann Mill. Camping is available year-round, with the B-loop open in winter. Reservations are available up to one year in advance.
