Mineshaft Flat is a remote backpacking trail camp located at 9,600 feet elevation in the San Gorgonio Wilderness within San Bernardino National Forest. Accessible via the Fish Creek Trail and Sky High Trail, it is situated on the North Fork Whitewater River. The camp is extremely remote and not on the way to major peaks. Amenities include picnic tables, fire pits, and vault toilets. First-come, first-served basis; no reservations accepted. Best visited during spring or fall for mild weather.
