Mill Creek Recreation Area Additional Info: The Mill Creek Campground is located roughly 30 miles south of Battle Mountain, Nevada. The site was originally a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp developed during the Great Depression and was later identified as a recreation area. The campground receives approximately 30,000 visitors annually and offers access to outdoor recreation activities in northeastern Nevada.
