Middle Creek Expansion Campground sits at 8,100 feet elevation along Middle Creek, which connects Upper and Lower Blue Lakes in the Sierra Nevada. The expansion area contains 34 campsites suitable for tents, trailers, and RVs. Amenities include vault toilets, piped water, picnic tables, grills, fire rings, and bear boxes. The campground is open early summer to mid-October depending on snowfall. Popular activities include swimming, boating, fishing, picnicking, and hiking. Operated by Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
