Mescal Mountain OHV Area

Mescal Mountain OHV Area is a primitive staging area for off-highway vehicles near Kearny, Arizona, managed by the Town of Kearny and Bureau of Land Management. It offers free primitive camping on over 10 acres with no designated campsites. Amenities include vault toilets (currently unavailable due to vandalism in some reports) and information kiosks. No drinking water, dumping stations, picnic tables, or shade structures are available. The area features low desert scenery, beginner-friendly trails, and is best used October to May. Camping is limited to two weeks.
