Meriwether Lewis Campground is a free, first-come, first-served campground located at milepost 385.9 on the Natchez Trace Parkway near Hohenwald, Tennessee. The campground features 32 well-separated wooded sites situated on a hilltop, with many offering views through the trees. Facilities include flush toilets and potable drinking water. The site encompasses 358 acres with hiking trails, a section of the Old Trace, exhibits, and picnic areas. Amenities include no campfires or pets allowed, no hookups, showers, or dump stations. Maximum vehicle length is approximately 16 feet. The peaceful, forested setting makes it suitable for tent camping and small RVs.
